Round 3: Head fends off the takedown attempt again, having allowed just one Ebersole takedown in eight tries. And again, Ebersole with a takedown attempt that Head sprawls and fends off with ease. Stiff jab by Head, followed by a knee to the body. Right lands courtesy of Ebersole. Head takes the back of Ebersole, but he switches and moves out of anything on the ground. Ebersole has been unsuccessful on 11 of 12 takedown tries, as he just doesn't look very into the fight. Not a lot of urgency out of either fighter to win it. Head tries a choke, but Ebersole rolls and winds up on top, finishing the round in a strong position but without doing any damage.
