Things got a little nutty on TNA Impact last week when a professional wrestler decided to surprise an unsuspecting female announcer with a crotch to the face.
According to Larry Brown Sports, during a recent taping of TNA Impact, Austin Aries and his tag team partner Bobby Roode were incorrectly introduced by announcer Christy Hemme. Outraged at the disrespect shown, Aries cornered Hemme in the ring, stood up on a turnbuckle and thrust his crotch into the woman’s face. The move was not scripted.
After Hemme revealed that she was troubled by what transpired, TNA and its TV partner Spike sprung into action.
“We discussed [the incident] with our partner,” David Schwarz, Spike TV’s senior VP/communications, told WrestlingNewsSource.com. “[Aries is] being disciplined. I’m trying to get more information on what action is being taken. Dixie Carter took this very personally. He will be disciplined. Again, we have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment.
“I’m not sure specifically how [the discipline] will be handled. To what extent, I don’t know. This is certainly something we don’t condone and don’t tolerate. Such behavior is not welcome."
Aries, presumably thankful for the free publicity, made light of the matter on Twitter.
Pretty nuts, some of the junk people get the balls to say over the net, knowing they couldn't to your face...Eh, anyway, time to sack out.

On Wednesday, TMZ reported that Aries earned a ‘severe’ fine for his deed. An exact figure was not offered.
