Tiana Harris, Estefania Myers, Lisa Parker Accused of Running Delaware Toddler Fight Club

Publish date:

Three Delaware daycare workers were arrested late Monday evening after police discovered video of them organizing a ‘toddler fight club’ while investigating an unrelated incident.

Tiana Harris, 19, Estefania Myers, 21, and Lisa Parker, 47, were all charged with assault, reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and conspiracy.

Police are reportedly now in possession of cell phone footage that shows the toddlers being pitted against one another in what were presumably MMA-style, one-on-one showdowns. While the youngsters involved were apparently not ‘seriously’ injured, Dover Police Capt. Tim Stump did admit that they were "clearly hurting each other.”

In the video, a daycare worker can reportedly be heard saying “no pinching, only punching” after one of the kids complained that he had gotten pinched.

"It's not like they didn't know what was going on, and they were just encouraging them to continue," Stump said. "One of the children attempted to run, but one of the teachers pushes him back into the fray.

"We are looking into the possibility that this was not the first time it happened, but it appears to be isolated, and it seems the administration was in the dark about this."

Because police are refusing to release footage of these youngsters throwing down, the good folks at Next Media Animation did their best to recreate it:

Each of the workers involved have reportedly posted $10,000 bail and are now awaiting trial.

We live in a terrible, terrible world.
