Thiago Alves and Siyar Bahadurzada Really Seem to Want to Fight Each Other

Publish date:

Thiago Alves and Siyar Bahadurzada were originally scheduled to meet earlier this year. However, an injury to Alves forced the cancellation of the fight.

Well, it appears the two still have interest in squaring off inside the Octagon. Currently, the two are with an opponent on record.

Bahadurzada was asked on Twitter who he wanted to fight next, and he responded with Alves, adding, "Alves knows that!:)"

It didn't take Alves long to fire back, writing, "anytime." Bahadurzada posted, "Great! I think we owe the MMA fans a fight! Would be an honor to welcome u back in the octagon after your injury."

Alves is 2-4 in his last six, dropping his record to 19-9. Bahadurzada holds an overall career mark of 21-4-1, including a 42-second knockout of Paulo Thiago earlier this year in his UFC debut.
