A 17-year-old kid who taunted and eventually threatened to drown British Olympic diver Tom Daley was arrested on Tuesday. In Britain, sending out hostile and menacing messages over the internet, along with being dumb, is also a prosecutable offense.
While there isn’t much information available on this internet tough guy besides the fact that he was booked on “suspicion of malicious communications", he did leave a whole lot of evidence of his stupidity out there for the police to work off.
Here is a sample:

And then there was this:
"I'm going to find you and I'm going to drown you in the pool ..."
According to CBS, Daley’s father died of brain cancer a year ago. In various interviews, the 18-year-old British Olympian had said that he was hoping to medal in these games for both himself and his dad.
Twitter has played a surprisingly significant role in this year’s London Games up to this point. Prior to this particular incident, Swiss soccer player Michel Morganella and Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou were both banned from the Olympics for racist comments they made while presumably trying to kid around with their followers.
Tweet with caution, folks.
