The Dallas Mavericks smacked the Miami Heat right back Tuesday night to even the series at 2-2. And in doing so, the Mavericks held LeBron James to eight points…his lowest point total in 90 playoff games.
On Wednesday, DeShawn Stevenson said that LeBron “checked out” of Game 4. Maybe not the brightest idea to poke the beast the night before a crucial Game 5, but Stevenson doesn’t seem to care.
He went on to say that the Heat are still getting to know each other and that LeBron just didn’t seem like himself on Tuesday night. But he did say that he’s “talented enough that he can use anything in the paper to kind of boost his ego.”
If LeBron goes off in Game 5 and the Heat win, some eyeballs are going to turn towards Stevenson and his didn’t-need-to-be-made comments.
