The Lakers’ newest future Hall of Famer, Steve Nash, touched down in Los Angeles at some point during the last 24 hours. As is standard operating procedure these days, he was greeted at the airport by a pesky TMZ reporter who engaged him in the most painfully awkward interview ever conducted.
Seriously, this interview is cringeworthiness in its realest, truest form.
There wasn’t much to take away from the back-and-forth, but the reporter did accidentally stumble onto one good question about sad Phoenix Suns fans.
He pointed out that a lot of folks were disheartened about Nash's departure, and asked how he felt about the people who were sad that he skipped town.
Nash’s advice to those in Phoenix who are said about him leaving?
Don't worry, Suns fans. There's always Goran Dragic and Michael Beasley. (On a serious note: Kendall Marshall is a stud. Book it. You'll love him in 3 years.)
