Up to this point, if you’re a U.S. sports fan, the 2012 Olympics have largely been about glory and success. Beginning with Gabby Douglas’ triumphant showing in the women’s gymnastics individual all-around and ending with most of what Michael Phelps did, aside from a few minor controversies, most of the headlines coming from this year’s Games have been positive.
These London Games haven’t been as kind to other countries, though.

Officials had to take him off the track in a wheelchair. That makes it slightly less funny. Only slightly, though.
