Ouch. Divorce is never a pretty thing, but considering 50% of Americans do it, we give it an automatic pass in today's society. Almost everybody has an ex, right? And if the reason for the split is cheating, it's certainly uncool and immoral -- but we've become numb to it, especially if it involves the rich and famous.
Yet there is certainly a line, especially in sports. If you get a divorce for cheating with a teammate’s wife? Now you’re officially the worst person on earth.
That’s the reality San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is facing, Ugly rumors are flying around -- at cheap gossip depots like The Daily Heat -- that his divorce from wife Eva Longoria is happening because he cheated with the wife of his former teammate Brent Barry.
According to TMZ, most people close to the Parker-Longoria situation believe Parker’s infidelity is linked to Barry’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Erin (pictured). The Barrys are currently in the middle of a still-quiet divorce, but all signs point to things getting very messy... quick.
Barry and Parker played together on the Spurs from 2004 to 2008.
