NFL Preview: San Diego Chargers vs. Houston Texans

The 3-5 San Diego Chargers travel to Reliant Stadium boasting the NFL's best offense, 2nd best defense. If that wasn't gaudy enough, they have QB Phillip Rivers who has set the record for the most passing yards in the first half of an NFL 16 game season (2649 yards). So how are they only 3-5?

Well, for starters there is a third unit that often has a big influence on games and that's special teams. On special teams they've been undisciplined and downright awful. Besides that, they have an uncanny ability to repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot.

The Houston Texans have a 4-3 record in the most competitive division in football having last year's best offense, but now this year's worst defense, in the NFL.

San Diego is a 3 point favorite on the road in this AFC showdown and this one could get wild as neither of these teams can be accused as being passive on the offensive side of the ball.

Our own Jason Braddock is here to break the game down for you.
