Rory MacDonald and BJ Penn Set to Fight?
Rory MacDonald called out former UFC champion BJ Penn. And, according to Penn's own website, it would seem like "The Prodigy" has accepted.
"Rory, I accept your challenge," Penn posted late Tuesday night.
MacDonald (13-1) has won three consecutive fights since a loss to current UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit. He submitted Che Mills earlier this year at UFC 145.
Penn (16-8-2) retired after a loss to Nick Diaz last year, but has said he is considering a return to action if the right fight came about. He turned down Josh Koscheck's request for a bout.
The site said UFC 152 on September 22 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada would be the targeted date.
