Rashad Evans Still Wants to Fight Anderson Silva

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans appears to have finally settled on his future. For now, "Suga" is preparing himself for a potential return fight in December, according to his manager Glenn Robinson.

However, if the opportunity to face UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva came about, Evans would jump at that chance. For now, he will prepare to fight at 205 pounds.

"If the UFC offered him Anderson Silva at 185 right now today, he would go and fight Anderson Silva at 185," said Robinson, in an interview with MMA Weekly Radio. "The UFC is not offering him Anderson Silva at 185 today, so that's not something that's going to happen. His goal is to stay at 205 and to fight the best possible 205-pounder; he'd like to fight in December. That's his goal."

Evans (17-2-1) has fought twice this year, defeating Phil Davis and falling to UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones via decision. Evans is also currently helping prepare Vitor Belfort for a fight with Jones at UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort.
