The St. Louis Rams just can’t seem to catch a break. After missing the playoffs by one game last season, many thought they’d take the next step and become a hot young team. Sadly, it’s kind of what we heard about the Arizona Cardinals every year in the last decade. Always supposed to be up-and-coming, yet never seemed to get there.
Earlier this season the Rams lost their best cornerback Ron Bartell for the season. They also lost Jerome Murphy for the year.
Now, their top remaining corner back, Bradley Fletcher? You guessed it!
“Rams cornerback bradley fletcher suffers torn acl during bye week practice. Needs surgery, out for season,” tweets Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
So that means a team that didn’t have stellar corners to begin with, now is completely decimated at the position. You want a fantasy tip? Start any wide receivers playing the Rams. Look what Torrey Smith of the Ravens did two weeks ago. He’s done absolutely nothing otherwise.
