There obviously isn’t as much optimism surrounding UCLA’s football program now as there was at the beginning of the season, but folks in Los Angeles are still pretty hyped about the Bruins.
As it stands, the squad is currently 6-2 and might very well end up with only three losses for the year. Yes, three out of their four next opponents are ranked – but all three are also extremely flawed. Arizona’s offense, as impressive as it is at times, can be slowed down. USC is reeling from the sheer disappointment of their 2012 campaign. Stanford buckles if you punch their guys back in the mouth after the initial hit. Three losses this season is not inconceivable at all.
As noted above, this Saturday, UCLA will take on Rich Rodriguez and the Wildcats. Check out the interesting new uniforms they will be sporting for “L.A. Night”:
A lot of people prefer the regular uniforms (read: us), but those are alright. Far more important than what the Bruins wear in this game is how they perform in it.
