The brand new Air Jordans made their triumphant debut on Monday to something of a mixed reception. This particular incarnation of the iconic shoes -- which in years past have literally caused riots to break out at retail stores because of how much demand there was for them -- seemed to strike the wrong chord with a lot of sneakerheads.
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, they will sell for $250.
Are these shoes really as bad as some folks are making them out to be? Well, that depends almost entirely on personal preference. They’re definitely different. Ugly, though? That’s a decision best left to each individual person. (Totally playing devil's advocate right now, by the way; they're horrendous.)
