The rosters for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game haven’t been unveiled yet, but that won’t stop the powers that be from giving us a gander at what really matters – how the uniforms look.
If you notice a certain combination of uniqueness and retro style in the jersey layout, fear not, that’s by design. As per the Orlando Sentinel, the block lettering on the top of the jerseys was inserted to pay homage to the 1992 All-Star Game, and the dark-to-light coloring of the jerseys was purposely done to “convey an out-in-the-sun, faded approach.”
