It can’t be easy constantly getting stopped by adoring fans at inopportune times.
When you’re a bigtime, well-known athlete, you have zero privacy to do anything. Someone will always want to get an autograph from you, take a picture with you or just shake your hand for a few seconds. As cool as it may sound in theory, it's actually a pretty annoying way to live. And with that in mind, you have to give famous athletes a pass for certain gaffes.
Which brings us to Santos Laguna defender Felipe Baloy’s slightly embarrassing recent kerfuffle.
During a recent trip (presumably to the store or news stand), Baloy was stopped by an adoring young fan who asked for a picture. Being the consummate professional and good guy that he is, Baloy obliged the youngster’s request and took the picture, grinning from ear to ear.
Because he was coming from somewhere when he was stopped by this kid, naturally, Baloy had a bag in his hand. In the light, the bag was transparent. And thanks to the magic of transparency, the whole world now knows what he was shopping for.
