Prior to Saturday’s showdown between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao, Mitt Romney visited the latter fighter in his locker room.
While was the pair’s conversation was admittedly brief, Pacquiao’s genuine likeability and charm no doubt left the runner-up in this year’s U.S. Presidential elections impressed.
That admiration he developed for Pacquiao beforehand is probably why Romney ultimately produced the moment of the night yesterday when he reacted like this to Marquez knocking his new best friend out:
That’s the same face Republicans had on election night when the final tally came across the wire.
No word on whether Karl Rove is ready to admit that Pacquiao lost or not.
