Paulo Thiago Hopes to Make a Statement Against Kim Dong-Hyun

Paulo Thiago's (14-4) last fight against Siyar Bahadurzada (21-4-1) didn't go exactly as planned. Thiago was defeated earlier in the year at UFC on Fuel TV, where it only took his challenger 42 seconds to secure the KO win. The fight marked the first time Thiago was stopped and he's still not pleased with the outcome.

"I'm choking a fight," said Thiago to TATAME. "I was in my best shape, well prepared and by a stroke, nor was there an exchange of blows. It was a blow I received and deleted. I'm wanting to go back behind the victory again, follow the right path."

The loss dropped his overall UFC record to 4-4. Five of those fights have been left in the hands of the judges. The regret over the early KO loss to Bahadurzada continues.

"I wish I had one more chance," said Thiago. "It was a very quick thing. Without taking his merits, which is an exceptional fighter full of qualities, but I would like to try again."

Thiago returns to the Octagon when the company makes history, as they host their first show from China. Thiago will fight Kim Dong-Hyun (15-2-1-1 NC) on the shows main card.

UFC on Fuel TV 6 takes place November 10 and airs on Fuel TV.
