Pat Healy is a Little Annoyed with the UFC
Pat Healy (28-16) might have an impressive Strikeforce record, but that doesn't mean the UFC cares. Healy recently spoke about he thinks the UFC is sending mixed singles to Strikeforce fighters.
"I've been given no guarantee," said Healy to MMA Mania. "Basically, what I'm getting is win you're in, lose you're out. They're going around to whoever they can find and telling them that."
Healy has won six of his seven Strikeforce fights. His sole UFC appearance was a losing effort to Anthony Torres (5-2) in 2007.
On the final Strikeforce card, Healy is set to compete on the preliminary card. No opponent has been announced.
Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine takes place January 12 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK. Showtime airs the main card and Showtime Xtreme the preliminary action.
