The conclusion of Monday night’s showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers put a nice little bow on everything that folks have been saying for a month now.
Everyone who had watched the replacement referees since the start of the year knew that they were inept and unqualified to do the job they were tasked with doing – now a national TV audience knows it too.
In case you missed the fireworks:
If anything ends the referee lockout, it will most certainly be the image of two replacements standing side by side, looking at the same exact play, and making two completely opposite rulings. Not only should that picture live in infamy, it should be preserved and brought out whenever ridiculously rich sports leagues decide that they want to nickel and dime the folks who make it possible for them to be so ridiculously rich.
After getting jobbed, a number of understandably angry Packers players took to Twitter to express their displeasure with a loss that they absolutely, positively didn’t deserve.

Got f**ked by the refs.. Embarrassing. Thanks nfl
F**k it NFL.. Fine me and use the money to pay the regular refs.
Any player/coach in Seattle that really thinks they won that game has zero integrity as a man and should be embarrassed.

That was bulls**t. This is getting ridiculous! The NFL needs to get the refs back bfr we strike and they make no money!
The nfl needs to come to gb and apologize to us for f**king us! These refs r bums!
Golden tate is full of s**t too. Saying he clearly caught that is embarrassing! F**king jokers!

Accountability: The moment a player does something to embarrass the shield, swift & immediate action takes place! WHY not now?! Jussayin
Honestly, It's not about winning or losing here, it's the integrity of this game we love to play/watch. Hate 2 question it! Pack still good!

Come on @NFL this s**t is getting out of Control. Caused us a DAMN game. Horrible!
The NFL is expected to release a statement on last night’s happenings within the hour – it’s probably a safe bet that the language in it won’t be as colorful as that used by Packers players in the tweets above.
