NFL Winners and Losers: Eagles, Giants, Shanahan, Niners

It's time for the Week 15 edition of 'NFL Winners and Losers.' Each week I will take a look at some of the bonehead plays, stupid decisions and horrible calls. I'll also give credit where credit is due and point out the good surprises each week. Here. We. Go.

Philadelphia Eagles: Wow. What else is there to say? 28 points. Eight minutes. Walk-off punt return touchdown. All against the division rival New York Giants. Vick looks like he can tear apart any defense. DeSean Jackson looks just as good as Devin Hester, maybe even better. LeSean McCoy is playing like a pro-bowler. Does anyone really want to play Philadelphia right now?

Vincent Jackson: You know what's probably the best way to get the contract you want? Five receptions, 112 yards and three touchdowns. Yeah, Jackson dominated the terrible San Francisco 49ers. But he made some incredible moves and was spectacular in a game without teammate Antonio Gates.

Ray Rice: The Saints defense couldn't stop him. From start to finish, Ray Rice did what ever he wanted against New Orleans. He rushed for 153 and recorded 80 receiving yards. He scored two touchdowns and absolutely killed my fantasy team. I hate you Ray Rice.

New York Jets: Huge win. The Jets just shut up the millions of people who have been saying this line for two weeks: "The Jets have been exposed."

New York Giants: So many things happened throughout the epic meltdown that I don't know where to begin. How do you not prepare for the onside kick? How do you let Michael Vick go off for two 30-yard runs and run all over your defense in the last eight minutes? How do you NOT punt it out of bounds? How do you collapse like that? Boggles the mind.

Mike Shanahan: I think it's safe to say that Mike Shanahan has snapped and lost his mind... or gone mad with power. Those are the only explanations that make sense.

Brian Cushing: Probably shouldn't get in a fight on the field with your own teammate during a game... you know?

San Francisco 49ers: I might be in the minority with this one, but I think I would be okay if San Francisco made the playoffs. But I wouldn't be okay with the 49ers getting a home game. They suck. In no way would they deserve that. - Michael Klopman
