Resident good samaritan of the Los Angeles Lakers, Ron Artest, decided to break up a fight in front of an L.A. nightclub this past weekend.
You know, just because.
Apparently, as the unique forward was leaving some swanky Hollywood establishment, he spotted a man and woman starting to throw wild punches at one another. Artest, a staunch critic of any fights that don’t occur between NBA players and fans in the stands, decided to do his part to break it up.
Later, when he spoke with TMZ, Artest, a.k.a. The Peacemaker, dropped this life lesson:
"Unfortunately there was a situation at the club and some people had too much to drink, and got unruly and aggressive. I tried to diffuse the situation. Some people just don't think clearly when they've had too much to drink -- it's an unfortunate reality. "
Video of the fun, by way of TMZ, below.
