If you tuned out at some point during Sunday’s 2011 NBA Finals rematch between the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks, here is what you may have missed: an absolutely ridiculous three-man, two-pass, one jam play featuring Mario Chalmers, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
With the score at something like 23213132 to 18, Chalmers caught the ball and launched it down to James. Unfortunately, the pass wasn’t entirely on mark and the much-maligned Heat forward had to leap up to get it in a way that put him out of position for the easy slam. Fear not, though. Somehow, while in mid-air, No. 6 spotted Wade coming towards him and left the ball in ideal position for Miami's closer to jam it home.
