I'm behind. Let's catch up.
*Boston acquires Courtney Lee in a sign-and-trade. Houston gets JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore, Sean Williams, 2nd Round Pick from Boston and Joe Diebler from Portland. Portland gets Sasha Pavlovic.*
Basically, Boston gave away a lot of scraps to shore up their backcourt. Now they have Rajon Rondo, Jason Terry, Avery Bradley, and now Courtney Lee. At least, this makes up for the loss of Ray Allen.
*L.A. Lakers re-signs Jordan Hill for 2 years, $7+ million*
Jordan Hill accepted less money for a chance to play with the star-studded line-up of the Lakers. With Hill back, it gives the Lakers a healthy frontcourt rotation (which also includes Antawn Jamison) as he backs up either Andrew Bynum or Pau Gasol. I wasn't big on Hill early in his career but he proved to be valuable to the Lakers as he caught on late in the season and was important in the playoffs. His hustle won me over.
*Phoenix re-signs Shannon Brown for 2 years, $7 million*
I guess he had nowhere else to go but Brown scored well under Alvin Gentry's system.
*Minnesota comes to terms with Greg Stiemsma*
Anyone is better than the manna sent from heaven, right? They could've signed Gheorge Muresan of right now and it would've been better. KAAAAAHHHHHNNNNN!!!
