MMA Video: Chael Sonnen Watches Himself Lose to Anderson Silva at UFC 117
During a recent segment for UFC Insider on FUEL TV, Chael Sonnen sat behind closed doors and watched his UFC 117 fight with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Sonnen lost via fifth round submission.
"I remember asking the referee when it was done, 'What happened?' He said, 'You tapped,' and I simply said, 'I believe you,'" Sonnen said. "I didn't even know where I was."
Sonnen will get his second chance to take the title from Silva this Saturday night when the two collide in the main event of UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II.
