The numbers are in for the first major MMA event of 2012, with Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine drawing an audience 1,992 for a gate of $68,805.
Of the 1,992 tickets, 927 were sold and 1,065 were given out on a complimentary basis; 727 tickets went unsold.
Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine aired in its entirety via the Showtime Extreme and Showtime premium cable channels.
In the main event, newly crowned Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold successfully defended his title for the first time with a first round TKO over veteran Keith Jardine. Lower on the card, Robbie Lawler and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal picked up stoppage wins over the less experienced Adlan Amagov and Lorenz Larkin, respectively.
Lawal tested positive for performance enhancing drugs from the performance, but has maintained his innocence and is planning an appeal.
Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine went down on January 7 from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
