Former Strikeforce women's featherweight champion Cris "Cyborg" Santos did little to save her tarnished image today when she posted an embellished photo of a defeated Gina Carano following their 2009 title fight, along with a message promising that Ronda Rousey will be her next victim.
Shortly after it was announced that the promising young Rousey would be dropping to bantamweight to challenge Meisha Tate for her Strikeforce title, it was also revealed that Cyborg had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs following her most recent title defense, against Hiroko Yamanaka. For most, the positive test brings into question the entirety of Cyborg's career, as she's made it by essentially being too physically overwhelming for most women.
Already tied into a bout with Tate, Rousey expressed regret that she couldn't take on Cyborg first to make her pay for being a cheater. Today, she further made her feelings known in response to Cyborg's tweet.
"@criscyborg you don't just have a d***, you are a d*** for posting that picture of Gina, you cheater," Rousey wrote.
Rousey is due to face Tate on March 3 in Columbus, Ohio.
