Worldwide Mixed Martial Arts has announced the lineup for their first fight card, which features several veterans of the sport.
As noted earlier, heavyweight fighters Sean McCorkle and Brian Heden will headline the card, with a supporting contest between Karo Parisyan and Thomas Denny in the co-main event. The entire six-fight main card will air on pay-per-view, as well as The Armed Forces Networks, with a portion of the proceeds to support the Wounded Warriors organization.
"We are excited to offer this event through major pay-per-view partners and the Armed Forces Network," WMMA president William McFarlane said in a release. "Giving our fans the ability to view this landmark event while supporting Wounded Warriors is central to what WMMA is all about. With several former and active duty military on the fight card, we are extremely excited that AFN will broadcast our event live to over 175 military installations worldwide.
