Missing Broncos Fan Found, Reunited With Family

Missing Broncos fan Paul Kitterman was found by police last night. Kitterman is safe and has been reunited with his family. He was found in a hotel in Pueblo, Clorado, which is over 100 miles south from where he was last seen in Denver.

Kitterman’s reasons for running off are still unknown. He's probably the only person who knows, or will ever know, why he wandered away unannounced from Sports Authority Field in Denver last Thursday.

When asked by authorities why he ditched his son and friends at the Broncos' game, Kitterman said he’d “Had his fill of football.” Kitterman confirmed he had just $50 in his wallet when he left the stadium and was not carrying a cell phone or credit card.

Police were tipped off to Kitterman’s whereabouts by one of his friend’s ex-wife. Kitterman arranged for the woman to pick him up at a Salvation Army in Pueblo and drop him off at a hotel. Police declined to comment on any possible connection between the woman and Kitterman’s decision to run off.

"He said he had his fill of football and that he likes to walk and wander, and he was looking for a warmer place," Pueblo police Sgt. Franklin Ortega told the Associated Press.

No charges will be filed against Kitterman.

"He's a grown man,” Sgt. Ortega said. “If that's what he wants to do, he can do it.”
