Mike Tyson has been everywhere as of late.
He came onto the scene when he starred in the The Hangover movies. Then he went on Jimmy Kimmel to sing songs for Kevin Durant and LeBron James.
Now the former boxer is taking his talents to Broadway, and he’s got Spike Lee helping him.
According to ESPN, Tyson will team up with the director for his one-man show called “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” which will feature at the Longacre Theater for six nights from July 31 to August 5.
“It is an honor to work with Spike Lee,” Tyson said. “I have always admired his work. Sharing the highlights and lowlights of my life with New York is especially important to me as I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I am thrilled to bring the story of ‘Undisputed Truth’ to Broadway.”
It will be Spike’s first time as a Broadway director.
“It’s my honor to be making our Broadway debut together,” the New York native said.
Lee previously with another sports icon in Kobe Bryant, when he made the documentary called Kobe Doin’ Work.
Surely this will be solid as well.
