A World Baseball Classic game between Mexico and Canada turned ugly on Saturday when a bench-clearing brawl broke out in the ninth inning.
Both players and fans ended up getting removed from the outing for their participation.
Down 9-3 in the final inning, Mexico’s Arnold Leon threw inside on Rene Tosoni on two separate occasions – earning a warning from the home plate umpire for his blatant provocations. On his next pitch, he stopped messing around and actually hit Tosoni.
