Mark Munoz Offers His Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre Prediction

While an Anderson Silva (33-4) and Georges St-Pierre (23-2) superfight is just talk and speculation at the moment, that hasn't stopped middleweight Mark Muñoz (12-3) from picking his favorite. For Muñoz, size plays a large role in his decision.

"I just think Anderson will be much larger than St. Pierre and it will make much difference," said Muñoz to TATAME. "I think Anderson wins."

Both Silva and St-Pierre have dominated their respective division. Silva has defended his middleweight championship a UFC record 10 times and St-Pierre is up to seven in a row. In 2012, Silva fought twice. He defended his title over the summer and fought as a light heavyweight at UFC 153. St-Pierre made his return at UFC 154, going on to retain his title after being out with an injury for the past 19 months.

"This is a very intriguing fight because they are two of the best guys in the UFC," said Muñoz. "Watching the two of them experiencing and knowing the skills of each is something that makes me very intrigued."

As for Muñoz, he is currently out with a foot injury. Before his last fight, Muñoz was considered a top name to challenge for the middleweight championship. Then Chris Weidman (9-0) scored a second round KO halting those dreams in the process.
