Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley Won’t Start Until Heat vs. Celtics Game 7 Ends

The Miami Heat’s Game 6 victory over the Boston Celtics was good news for Heat fans, but it was bad news for everyone else. You see, had Boston won Thursday night’s outing, the series would have been over and Saturday would have been free and clear for the two million other sporting events going down that day. But because of LeBron James’ Herculean effort, Heat vs. Celtics Game 7 was added to a Saturday agenda already featuring the Belmont Stakes and Manny Pacquiao versus Timothy Bradley’s much-hyped showdown.

Now, the Belmont Stakes part of the equation is okay – that happens earlier in the day. But Pacquiao vs. Bradley and Heat vs. Celtics overlap; what’s a sports fan to do?

Fear not, folks – Bob Arum has you covered. According to the New York Post’s George Wills (by way of Larry Brown Sports), Arum will not let Pacquiao vs. Bradley begin until after Heat vs. Celtics wraps up. Per Twitter:

In light of Game 7, Bob Arum says #pacbradley won't start until NBA Heat-Celtics is concluded.

Arum isn’t usually the guy you look to when you want good news (thanks for setting up that Floyd vs. Manny fight, Bob), but this is definitely music to the ears of any and all real sports fans.

Saturday promises to be epic.
