Lakers' Artest Stopped in Oversized Go-Cart in LA

How can anyone dislike Ron Artest?

Artest made headlines today when he was pulled over in Los Angeles while driving an oversized go-cart called an Eagle Roadster.

Now, pushing aside the fact that he was driving an oversized go-cart, the violation wasn’t even for what he was driving.  Rather, Artest was stopped because the registration on said car had already lapsed.

On top of that, the car wasn’t even registered to him in the first place. It was actually registered to some guy in Tennessee.

For those who are curious, Eagle Roadsters are custom little cars made to look like go-carts. They can go as fast as 152 miles per hour, and can go 0 to 60 in a mere 4.2 seconds.

Strangely enough, after a bit of thought, it’s exactly the type of car you would expect Ron Artest to be driving.

Check out a close-up of Artest with a goofy grin on his face as he’s sitting in the car and looking at the cop that stopped him.
