The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 92-83 on Tuesday night. As has been the case for most of the season, Kobe Bryant and Co. had to overcome a late rally by the home team and a particularly untimely injury en route to a nail biting finish.
When it was all said and done, the big hero from this outing was, without a doubt, Bryant. Putting his well-rounded 21 point, eight rebound and four assist line aside for a moment, the most impactful thing that the Lakers captain did all night may have been a thunderous dunk he dropped late in the fourth. While it is always difficult to make the case for a single play changing the swing of a whole game, if one can, this one did.
