Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez II Going Down at UFC 152
UFC president Dana White confirmed that the UFC is targeting UFC 152 on September 22 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the site for Junior dos Santos' UFC heavyweight title rematch with Cain Velasquez.
White informed MMAjunkie.com following the UFC on FX: Johnson vs. McCall post-fight interview that the promotion has September set as the date. Dos Santos claimed the title from Velasquez last year.
Since that time, dos Santos (15-1) has defended the belt against former two-time champion Frank Mir, while Velasquez (10-1) rebounded with a victory over Antonio Silva.
Former UFC champ BJ Penn is also set to return, facing Rory MacDonald on the sam card in the likely co-main event of the evening.
