Junior Dos Santos Thinks He Can be a Better Fighter

By being the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Junior dos Santos (15-1) knows that it brings added pressure and expectation from him.

"It feels a lot different because the responsibility is bigger for me," said dos Santos. "The more I fight, I get experience and feel more comfortable."

Since making his professional UFC debut in 2008, dos Santos has won all nine of his fights. His overall MMA record has 15 wins, with 11 of them occurring in the first round. Despite this dos Santos doesn't think he has hit his prime.

"I'm learning and improving every day," said dos Santos. "Right now, I'm feeling really good but I think I can do better than I'm doing now."

Dos Santos will make his second championship defense against Cain Velasquez (10-1) at the UFC's final show of the 2012 calendar year, on December 29 at UFC 155. It is a rematch from their original fight, at UFC on FOX 1, where dos Santos defeated Velasquez via KO just over one minute in round one.
