Jose Aldo Plans to Return from Injury Towards End of Year?

"Scarface" is anxious to get back in that cage.

Looking to get into the octagon at least once more before the end of 2012, the UFC's first and only featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, is expecting an October return upon the discovery that his left leg, which he injured while preparing to face off against Erik Koch at UFC 149, will not require surgery. Aldo's manager Andre Pederneiras broke the news this afternoon, and also noted that Aldo is currently taking part in physical therapy in Brazil and will soon reconvene with doctors to plan his next move.

As for his opponent, Erik Koch has opted to wait for the champion to return, and will welcome him back into the octagon this fall.
