Jerry Sandusky: Joe Paterno Didn’t Think I was a Pedophile (Video)

Jerry Sandusky made his first public comments since going to prison last year in a documentary entitled “Framing Paterno.” The John Ziegler-produced work reportedly investigates how much Joe Paterno truly knew about what was happening at Penn State during the years when Sandusky was abusing little boys, and the way his role in what happened was covered once the molestation allegations surfaced.

"Jerry Sandusky already had his day in court," Ziegler told Today’s Matt Lauer on Monday. "I'm trying to get Joe Paterno, effectively his day in court...I have no doubt that Jerry Sandusky was guilty of many of things, if not all the things, that he was accused of, but I do believe there were due process problems with the trial."

In Ziegler’s documentary, Sandusky insists that Paterno did not believe he was a pedophile.

“If he (Paterno) absolutely thought I was (a pedophile), I'd say no,’’ Sandusky said. “If he had a suspicion, I don't know the answer to that.”
