James McSweeney: "I'm Just Happy to Fight"
Many people worry about their placement on the card. They see a spot on the main card as where the money is made and how to develop a larger fanbase. That's not James McSweeney (10-10), who just goes out there to fight because he enjoys it.
"I'm just happy to fight," said McSweeney on Fight Hub. "I'm not that fighter that needs to fight on the main card. I just like to fight and show my fans what I've been doing."
All of McSweeney's UFC fights have occurred on the preliminary card.
McSweeney was a finalist on The Ultimate Fighter, where he lost in the finals to Roy Nelson (17-7). His UFC career was 1-2. Recently, McSweeney was on a four fight win streak before losing earlier this month overseas. The winning streak was the longest of his five year career.
