James Harrison Acknowledges that New Steelers Throwbacks are Terrible

James Harrison has never been one to bite his tongue about anything.

Whether he’s taking down opposing quarterbacks or destroying NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, the two-time champ and five-time Pro-Bowler is merciless when attacking a target. And so, it should come as no surprise to anyone that in a Twitter post on Tuesday, Harrison didn’t mince words on the topic of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ awful new throwbacks.

Check it out:

There's a reason these jerseys were from 1932..... it's 2012 now though, so send them back!!!lol fb.me/1FqMEi1dB

He’s right of course, these are embarrassingly awful. Sure, it’s nice to honor the old teams and what they wore and all that garbage, but ugly is ugly – and those are about as ugly as it gets.

Some things are better left in the past.
