Jadeveon Clowney won’t be NFL eligible for one more year, and that’s probably a good thing. It will give pro offenses some time to get better prepared for a guy who will inevitably to rip them to shreds in the not so distant future.
During Sunday’s Outback Bowl showdown between South Carolina and Michigan, Clowney -- who is an absolute beast physically -- showed everyone what he was capable of when he destroyed Vincent Smith and recovered possession for his team all on one clutch fourth quarter play.
It was brutal.
At the time of that play, South Carolina was up 22-21. The Gamecocks would eventually win the game 33-28.
