Cowboys Jerry Jones Hit with Odd Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was recently accused of numerous crimes in a very fascinating lawsuit.

The suit filed on September 30 by Patricia Gavin accuses Jones of “Sexual assault, theft, false imprisonment, and privacy actions where the plaintiff asserts she was pinned against the wall in a restaurant by the defendant and sexually assaulted, among other things.”

The D Magazine managed to get a copy of the filing from Gavin herself and it includes the following details:

-          She claims to be a former captain in the U.S. Air Force.

-          She says that Jones assaulted her on the same night when Deadspin appeared to capture him on camera drunk and discussing Tim Tebow’s poor NFL prospects.

-          She calls herself an art dealer.

-          She complains that someone stole her purse earlier that night which contained a check for $2 million.

-          She believes that in attempt to cover the whole mess up, Jones’ people dosed her with GHB (Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid).

On September 20, a judge issued a restraining order against Gavin. Said order prohibited her from having contact with Jones, his family or anyone associated with the Dallas Cowboys.

It’s worth noting that Gavin is moving forward with this without a lawyer, which pretty much sums up the likely legitimacy of the complaint.
