Hacran Dias vs. Yuri Alcantara Going Down at UFC 147
Multiple reports, including MMAjunkie.com, have confirmed that Hacran Dias will make his Octagon debut at UFC 147. The card is set for June 23 from Brazil, with the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte likely hosting the event.
Dias (20-1-1) is a major prospect the UFC signed to the featherweight division. Since his first career loss in 2009, Dias has won eight straight fights and is a sparring partner of teammate and UFC featherweight champ, Jose Aldo.
Alcantara (27-3) has won both of his UFC bouts and is on a 13-fight win streak. He has defeated Michihiro Omigawa and Felipe Arantes inside the Octagon.
UFC 147 is likely to feature Wanderlei Silva-Vitor Belfort, and the finals in The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil tournaments.
