Floyd Mayweather Vs. Manny Pacquiao: Pay-Per-View Restricted In Las Vegas Hotels

The May 2 fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be an expensive bout that is expected to make close to $400 million in revenue. If you will be in Las Vegas and don’t want to spend $1,500 on nosebleed seats, you will not be able to watch the fight on pay-per-view in most hotels.

The fight will take place at the MGM Grand, which has the exclusive rights to the fight, which means any non-MGM hotel in Las Vegas is not allowed to show the fight or offer it on pay-per-view to its guests.

According to ESPN’s Dan Rafael, Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter said tickets for a closed circuit viewings in Vegas are up to $150. Pay-per-view is $99 everywhere else, including private residences in Las Vegas.

So if you are in Vegas for the fight, you can either buy a ticket to the fight or pay $150 and find your way to the MGM Grand, Bellagio, Mirage or Monte Carlo to watch the fight of the century.
