Who says there isn’t any NFL news during a lockout? The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line has actually made quite a bit of news and not just for giving up sacks. Not more than a month ago, right tackle/stiff King Dunlap was arrested outside of a women’s basketball game for supposedly refusing to get his car off of the sidewalk.
Now, Jason Peters doesn’t want to get left out. Last night in Shreveport, LA, he was also arrested for an incident regarding his vehicle. The 29-year old was blasting his music in mode of transportation when the cops approached him about it.
He wisely refused to show identification, a move that most law enforcement officers recommend. He also made a brave choice to not turn down the music when the cops asked, because you can’t let no pig tell you how to live your life.
So, Peters was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and playing loud music.
Peters was supposedly down in Louisiana as a guest of rapper Rick Ross, who was also arrested last night. Shockingly, police smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from Ross’s vehicle. He was arrested on pot charges.
So, it sounds like everyone was hanging out in their cars doing things they should be doing in someone’s house and not bothering anyone with it. But, apparently is was more important to do it out in public and give the police a hard time. Brilliant.
