Drew Rosenhaus Already Represents 4 Miami Players in 2012 NFL Draft

Last week, I wrote thatDrew Rosenhaus of Rosenhaus Sports Representation signed University of Miami quarterback Jacory Harris and linebacker Sean Spence.  Neither signing was shocking, as Rosenhaus dominates UM recruiting, and both players just finished their Senior seasons.  However, since then, Rosenhaus has picked up another couple of Hurricanes – both Juniors.

Susan Miller Degnan and Manny Navarro of The Miami Herald report thatTommy Streeter and Marcus Forston have also signed with Drew Rosenhaus.  The two Juniors along with Harris and Spence all attended the same high school - Miami Northwestern, the same university, and now all share the same agent.

The fact that Streeter and Forston declared for the 2012 NFL Draft is not as surprising as the timing of the announcement.  Both players would have done themselves a favor by asking for an evaluation from the NFL College Advisory Committee (the deadline for on-time applications is December 16) and waiting for a response before forfeiting their remaining eligibility.  Now that they have signed with Rosenhaus, there is no going back to playing football at The U.  Forston has been riddled with injuries and scouts seem to be torn on Streeter’s value.
