Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall recently underwent hip surgery to fix an issue that he had dating back to his days in Denver. The surgery is expected to keep him out for the rest of OTA’s and he’s expected back in time for training camp.
This isn’t a huge deal because he doesn’t seem to need these practices anyway. Remember last year he was punting footballs all during mini camp to be a horse’s rear end and express displeasure with his contract.
But, ESPN’s John Clayton is reporting that the Dolphins didn’t know that his hip would need more surgery when they traded for him. According to Clayton, this was a “curveball” to the Dolphins’ offseason plans.
We are expecting the next “curveball” to involve Marshall, Michael Beasley, pot, police and a Miami nightclub. Just a guess.
