Disgusting Video: Leo Ponzio Suffers Hemorrhoid Burst During Soccer Match
Sometimes it’s okay to just sit a match out.
That’s the lesson that River Plate midfielder, Leo Ponzio, learned the hard way recently when he experienced something of a medical emergency during a game versus Boca Unidos.
What was Ponzio’s unfortunate medical emergency? Well, part of the way through the match, a noticeable a giant colored stain appeared on the back of his shorts. Not a little stain – a massive one. As it turned out, his hemorrhoid had apparently burst.
Via Larry Brown Sports:
“It was weird what happened to me, because I had spent a week in which I had eaten well,” Ponzio said “In the meantime I had been fine, but after a move that threw me to the ground I opened myself more than usual and I started to feel the blood. I felt that something had broken.”
If it makes anyone feel any better (it won't) – his team did end up winning the match.
